General Guidelines

As of Tuesday, October 27, 2020, the Brender-Moss Library for Social Sciences, Management and Education will be open to the public.

The library will be open Sunday to Thursday, from 8 AM to 8 PM. The library will be closed on Fridays.

The library is doing everything it can to safeguard your health and is complying with all Purple Tag guidelines. Please adhere to official instructions. These may change from time to time. Such changes will be posted on the library's website, Facebook page, and Instagram.

The library's current routine entails the following:

  • The Seat reservation system allows you to sign up for the time slot and seat of your preference.
  • We currently have 118 seats available in the library. These seats are numbered. Reservations are limited to 30 hours a week per person.
  • After making your reservation, you will receive confirmation by email. The confirmation verifies that your request has been successfully processed.
  • Show your confirmation at the library. You will be asked to present it before entering.
  • The number of seats is limited. If you have made a reservation and know you will not be coming to the library for any reason, please cancel your reservation to allow another reader to make use of the seat.
  • The place will be reserved for the invitee for 15 minutes. The reservation is then invalid and the room will be handed over to others.

  • It is mandatory to come equipped with a mask. No one will be allowed to enter campus and/or the library without a mask and gloves.
  • Library computers will not be availble for public use.

Please note:

  • Boxes of antiseptic wipes to clean surfaces and seats have been placed at the library entrance and all around the library.
  • You must clean your work surface and your seat at the beginning and end of your visit.
