Accessibility in the Library

In recent years, Israeli society has been going through a revolution regarding the equal rights of people with disabilities. Tel-Aviv University is actively working to advance the subject of accessibility of the physical and human environment in order to enable people with disabilities to obtain higher education and to be full partners in society. The Library of Social Sciences and Management is a partner in this process with emphasis on accessibility and quality of service for all its patrons.

Physical accessibility to and within the library

In order to determine which gate and parking lot is the closest to the building you desire, you can use the University map.

Every parking lot on campus has at least 2 parking spaces reserved for handicapped drivers. The  parking lots  closest to the Library are between Sharet  and Naftali buildings  and  those closest to Gate 5.

There is a ramp at the main entrance to the library. There is also easy access to the library from the Naftaly building.

The elevator is located on the entrance floor, at the end of the corridor near the InterLibrary Loan Room (Room 305), on the west side of the building. The elevator has an announcement system, buttons and buttons in Braille.
